Both games lasted roughly the same time-23:25 in game one and 23:35 in game two-with almost identical kill totals. The second day of week two saw Chiefs face Kanga, with the defending champions extending their lead in what can only be described as a one-sided affair. The third and current edition is organised by Ubisoft and BLAST, where twenty-four teams play two events in May and November each, with three stages of play. During the groups stage, the standard GSL format is used (1st seed vs 4th seed, 2nd seed vs 3rd seed, winners vs losers). One team qualifies by winning the previous Six Invitational. Four teams qualify by placing first in their region's respective Major Qualifier. Eight of the teams qualify by placing top two in their region's Pro League. The first edition of the Six Major had sixteen teams playing an annual event organized by ESL in conjunction with Ubisoft. Located in various venues around the world, the tournament gathers the best teams from Regional Leagues and serves as an interregional final for each Regional League stage. The Six Major is a professional Rainbow Six Siege tournament hosted by Ubisoft, the game's developer and publisher. ![]()
